Section 26-3. Emergency response

The employer shall prepare an emergency response plan, which must include staffing, equipment and emergency procedures as well as measures that follow from or are supplementary to the emergency procedures, including the use of surface decompression chambers.
Emergency procedures for diving operations shall include cases where hazardous or accident situations may arise, including situations that can be perceived as critical. The emergency procedures must include a description of each person's duties and obligations in an emergency.
The employer must provide training and exercises in emergency response plans and the duties of each person in an accident or hazardous situation. Emergency exercises with all participants in diving activities must be performed when there are changes in operational patterns, new crew, new equipment, etc., and at least every six months.
The emergency response plan and emergency procedures shall be reviewed regularly and kept up to date.
