Section 9-1. Specific measures when working with cytostatics

Cytostatics shall be handled in a separate room.

A cover shall be placed on the worktop to prevent the cytostatics from coming into contact with the worktop. The surface shall be covered with absorbent material. The cover shall be replaced after each preparation and discarded in labelled hazardous waste containers.
