Section 7-3. Implementation of measures in connection with work where there is a risk of reproductive harm

Based on a risk assessment, the employer shall decide which protection and safety measures to implement.
If permitted by the activity, the employer shall primarily ensure that employees are not exposed to agents in the working environment that can cause reproductive harm.
If it is not technically or organisationally possible to avoid exposing employees to agents in the working environment that can cause reproductive harm, the employer shall ensure that necessary protection and safety measures are implemented. This includes the use of personal protective equipment where necessary. The measures implemented shall be based on the risk assessment stated in Section 7-1 of the Regulations concerning Organisation, Management and Employee Participation and in Section 7-1 of this chapter.
Pregnant and breastfeeding employees must not under any circumstances be assigned work if the risk assessment shows that the work entails a risk of reproductive harm.
