Section 14-11. Medical examination of employees who may be exposed to working conditions that are harmful to their hearing

The employer shall ensure that employees are offered suitable medical examinations and hearing tests when the risk assessment shows that health risks exist.
The employer shall ensure that employees who are exposed to noise levels exceeding LEX,8h = 80 dB or LpC,peak = 130 dB, undergo medical examinations that include hearing tests.
The medical examinations shall be able to identify any adverse health effects caused by noise and provide the basis for preventive measures in the undertaking or other measures that can reduce the risk of harm to the employee's health.
Based on the employee's health condition and the type, level and duration of exposure, the medical practitioner shall decide the content of the examination and how often the employee should be examined.
