Section 30-1. Assessment of avalanche risk in connection with construction work

The employer shall ensure that a proper inspection is carried out and a report is prepared as the basis for a risk assessment of the avalanche risk. If there is a risk of accidents due to avalanches in or on work sites, access roads, and residential and occupancy areas, an avalanche expert shall carry out an inspection to consider what securing and emergency measures may be necessary to implement. At the same time, any precautions that need to be taken in situations where there is a risk of an avalanche shall be determined.
